Jeff Winkler is the owner/operator of Madoc Ag LLC, a commodity trading and agronomy consulting company based in Fort Benton MT. Madoc Ag is a First Purchaser of pulse crops and other commodities, and has long-standing relationships in the business. Commodity trader and sales agronomist in the co-op system from 2008 till 2021 (PRO Coop and Mountain View Coop). First started buying/using peas as a feed ingredient when managing the Westfeeds feed mill in Miles City in 2006. Been in the ag business since 1996 – started with Monsanto in their HybriTech hybrid wheat breeding program. Moved to UAP when Monsanto shuttered the hybrid wheat program. Have been in fertilizer & chemical sales, seed plant operation & management, location manager with UAP and their legacy companies post-divestiture until moving to Scobey with PRO Coop in 2008.
