Liz Edmundson

Executive Director

I grew up in a farming community in Eastern Oregon. Although my parents worked as helicopter loggers, I spent my summers engaged in agricultural activities, hoeing mint fields, driving seed trucks, and operating combines. This hands-on experience eventually led me to Montana State University, where I earned a track scholarship to pursue my passion for Agricultural Business. After two years in that program, I transitioned to Business Marketing and graduated in 2007 with a degree in Marketing from Montana State University—Go Cats!

In 2008, I married my college sweetheart, Travis Edmundson, a Montana native, and by 2009, we began raising our family. Over the past 14 years, Travis and I have been busy managing our ranches in central Montana while also running a feedlot, trucking operations, and hay stacking side business.

After many years in bookkeeping and overseeing the administrative aspects of our agricultural enterprises, I was eager to apply my degree and agricultural expertise in a more dynamic setting. In February 2023, I was appointed as the first executive director of the Montana Pulse Crop Committee, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenges that come with this role.
