Todd Hansen
Todd Hansen is a member of the MPCC Committee from Gildford, Montana. Todd is married to Angie, who he fondly describes as being “out of his league.” Together, they have four children and one grandchild.
Todd is a graduate of Northern and is proud to be a fourth-generation farmer. His extensive experience includes serving on the boards of the Montana Grain Growers Association (MGGA), the Montana Grain Fund (MGF), the National Association of Rural Communities (NARC), and the Montana Agricultural Experiment Station (MAES).
His farming operations include the cultivation of winter wheat, spring wheat, durum, barley, yellow peas, chickpeas, lentils, canola, and mustard. Recently, he transitioned from a traditional 50-50 winter wheat/fallow system to a more diversified 75-25 winter wheat, lentil, and oilseed rotation. His farm continues to grow and adapt. Todd expresses gratitude to the generations that came before him for their hard work and dedication. He hopes to leave a thriving legacy for future generations, allowing them to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
